Ht 18.0 cm x 14.5 cm rim diam
This weighty vase, with its powerful, architectural loop handles, is one of d’Avesn’s most celebrated designs for Daum, for whose moulded wares he was artistic director from 1930-1936. This piece is of a relatively plain, delicate lilac glass, in contrast to the elaborate surface treatments and strong colours also found in this pattern. The base is a little scuffed, but the vase is otherwise in perfect condition.
