Mark Griffiths set up his first pottery in 1975, and has been making pots in Shropshire since 1983. After pursuing a variety of styles and forms, from garden pots to bird feeders, he returned to making high-fired, ash-glazed stonewares in 1995.
This fine example of his work has real presence, well-potted, robust and with a subtle painted surface.
