A spectacular Japanese cloisonné enamel charger featuring a hawk on a pine branch amid flowers and foliage. The front of the charger bears some relatively minor losses to the enamel surface. The back, particularly within the footrim, also bears losses, although the surface now appears stable. The footrim is pierced and strung with wire for suspension.
